I had asked the question of installing Suse 8.0 in a
text mode versus a graphical install, due to my bios
not booting from CD.

According to your hardware, type of install and Suse 
documentation, create whatever boot disks that you 
will need.

Place the "second", not the "first" cd in the CD 
drive, and boot the machine. Press "F" and this will
start the text only install.

I have yet to try this. Please let me know if it works
or not.
