Very interesting self promotion by the author.  I noticed Russ stated he
was a Linux evangelist for 14 years.  Wasn't Linux introduced in 1991?  
Also states he has been a Linux user since 1995.

Good article though; unfortunately, he neglects to mention LUG's are a 
great source to share good pizza and cold drinks.
