I was going to suggest playing the cd digitally using /usr/bin/cdparaanioa and pipe the wav file into /usr/bin/play, but cdparanioa will not pipe. Perhaps it needs a little patch to help make things nice, but this worked for me: cdparanoia -w -- "-10" & play cdda.wav 100% digital!
