My name is Walt Lane. I am the President of NetStandard, Inc. NetStandard is searching to hire, full time (or possibly part time if going to local university), an individual very experienced with the Linux OS and internet routing. I am the founder of TFSnet, Inc., a regional internet service provisionary now known as Birch Internet. I now own the company NetStandard, which has been in business as a engineering and consulting facility, and presently offers Data Hosting Services since my non-compete with Birch has expired. I built a Data Center, complete with biometric scan and 350,000w diesel generator, into a fortified 12,500sqft facility. The building has a fiber sonet ring network (soon to be three). One of them is with AT&T and will be upgraded from OC3 to OC48 fiber MUX. The engineer I am wanting to hire will work inside of the NOC (Network Operating Center). We have a total of 15 engineers, with 1 engineer designated in the NOC now and I want an additional engineer to work with him. Projects such as assisting with the completion of a new Linux based POP3 server that has an html admin utility, virus protection, spam control, html mail client, and more, will be examples of what we will want you to work on. We have some disaster recovery documentation, plus routing configs for customers, and overall maintenance and support of our data center customers. If you are experienced with Linux and looking for a job (with full benefits) like this that will provide you additional experience, growth in your career with paid certifications, experience with high-end routing and switching hardware, and LOTS OF LINUX work, please give me a personal call at 913-262-3888 between the hours of 8am and 5pm M-F, or email me at this email address: wlane@netstandard.net. I have spoke with Dave Lowe and he gave me this email address to see if there was anyone looking for a job. I appreciate your time and hope to hear from someone in your users group. Thank you. Walt Lane President - NetStandard, Inc.
