It seems to have been pretty loaded since last weekend.  I found it much
better after changing to a specific mirror (used the one in Mo).  Don't
know, but looks like the 'net in general has been having issues for a
few days (see http://www.internettrafficreport.com ) and from here on
Telocity DSL to the East Coast in particular.  

Of course, YMMV....
