Sir,

You need to recompile your kernel with the option for big memory pages
included.  We run with 2 gig of ram on each of our exercise machines using a
kernel modified to recognize it.  Use the graphical kernel builder to do
that as it is easier.

I have a Redhat 7.0 server 2.2.-16 With 2 Gigs of ram. When I run top or cat
proc it only reports about 1 Gig of ram. Is there some limit or do I need a
different kernel.
