Hello,

Got a question for the networking gurus out there.  Using only linux 2.2.x
and the utils that come with it, if I have a MAC address and nothing else,
how can I find out what IP address (if any) that MAC is associated with?
Currently I can do this by looking in our router, but that's slow and cumbersome
I don't want to ping everything to build up the arp table either.
I need a utility that will do request the IP from the MAC address.  Any
takers?
