Drew I agree with 90% of what you are saying regarding certfication, (MSCE, LCA, etc, etc...). The 
10% I must disagree with you own is the comparing a certificate to a 4 year college 
education...Particalarly Computer Science...People with Computer Science degrees have the tendency 
to advance faster than that counter parts with certification... What a degree tells an employer is 
that you have staying power, not for just a 6 to 15 months, but for year(s)...And you get broader 
education...For example I'm constantly doint project plans, I know how to do them proparely through 
my college education, something I would not have gotten had I just got a certicate...Now don't get 
me wrong a certicate is a nice addition to a college degree, but a college degree is still the 
place to go...Exspecial now in the tightening job market...
