Thanks to all who responded directly.
All referred to the command:
	echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
which was the answer I was looking for, since I didn't want to do any
firewalling or ip_masquerading.  I knew that setting the flag was all that
was needed in AIX (though done differently) and hoped it would be that
simple in Linux, but couldn't find it in the books, or the ethernet or
routing howto's.

Also go Apache installed and running for the first time.  Very basically,
and surprisingly simple, but still something new for me.
