Well, yeah... I would hope anyone who is working with Novell gets paid for their time. I seriously doubt anyone has a Netware server running in their home. I'm not going to go into too much detail why Netware is superior to NT (and even Linux in some areas) since someone was nice enough to dedicate a webpage just for that purpose: http://members.home.net/njholland/computer/nw-vs-nt.htm -Jeremy -----Original Message----- From: Chris Fowler [mailto:chris@ingeniusinc.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 20, 2001 9:26 AM To: Jeremy Fowler Subject: RE: Off Topic - Novell Contractor Needed hehehe Novell. The only people that love Novell are the ones who get paid because of Novell. -----Original Message----- From: Jeremy Fowler [mailto:jeremy@microlink.net] Sent: Monday, March 19, 2001 9:08 PM To: 'Kclug Subject: RE: Off Topic - Novell Contractor Needed - excuse me... You may be right about Linux, but NT... Novell has got more proven performance and reliability then NT will ever have. Lets not get into security or even NDS, (Which Microsoft is now trying to mimic). Plus Novell's file sharing is by far superior to any SMB based solution, Linux or NT. -Jeremy -----Original Message----- From: Jonathan Hutchins, Rune Webmaster [mailto:hutchins@therune.com] Sent: Monday, March 19, 2001 3:12 PM To: cmayer@revbiz.com; kclug@kclug.org Subject: Re: Off Topic - Novell Contractor Needed If you converted to Linux (or even NT), your performance and reliability would improve to the point that you wouldn't need a new person. Just a thought. ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Friday, March 09, 2001 8:18 Subject: Off Topic - Novell Contractor Needed > Does anyone know of a Novell person looking for a little contract work? > > > > Carl Mayer > RBC Incorporated > http://www.revbiz.com > mailto:cmayer@revbiz.com > 913-385-5700x333 Fax 913-385-5701 > > >
