I have been given the opportunity to play with a Cayman 3220-H DSL Router, and will bring it to Demoday on the 7th. While this is not strictly Linux stuff, the docs claim that communicating with its CLI is an emulation of a UNIX terminal session. It's not quite as sexy as the Cisco stuff we were going to see this month, but what the hey? I suspect that the software is somewhat limited, (a grc.com scan showed open =telnet= port, for cryingoutloud) and might require an LRP or equivalent firewall inside it (outside would be better, but not possible). I want to find out what a gang of multitalented hackers can do with this thing, to (dis)prove that suspicion.
