All,

Earlier I posted about developing scripts for ipchains/scanlogd/snort for use as rc scripts.  The 
latest version of snort, 1.6.2.2, comes (almost)pre-configured to be started through rc(along with 
lots of other great features - if you run snort pick this up- if you don't, why not?).

The practical upshot of all this is that I'm cutting the scripts down to just manage ipchains.  
Since the scope has been limited, I'm trying to achieve some real polish with them, however.  I'll 
still make these available to anyone who wants them as soon as I'm satisfied that they they are 
worth it.
