No, but I've done several NFS installs. It helps to have a spare linux box laying around. If you do, I'd highly recommend it to, say, trying to install over a cable modem directly. If you lose your connection, you could be in big trouble. Whereas if you start by downloading the CD image, the most you could lose is a little time restarting the download. I think that there's also a 'local disk' installation method, but it would require that you don't intend to format the partition the image is in... Basically, I think NFS is about the cleanest install method, as well as the cheapest since there's nothing to buy or burn (just a floppy..). If you're having trouble getting CDs or anything, come to the next meeting. We're having an installfest. I'll be bringing RH6.2 and Mdk7.1 CDs.
