Hey all, I volunteered to bring my box in for this meeting, but it's going to be tricky. I've got a Toshiba T4700 notebook, no CD-ROM. It's a 486/33 with 24 MB RAM, so I *think* X should work (slowly). I also have no ethernet card (I've tried using PLIP to no avail). Would anybody be able to bring a PCMCIA adapter and cable? I *should* be able to do an FTP install, as long as we can get the necessary network info. Actually, it could even be done from a local NFS server if someone has a computer w/ CD-ROM and would be willing to donate it for this use (would need a NIC, cable and hub). Perhaps NFS would make a good demonstration/discussion topic. :-) I've been struggling with this machine since last March. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx. -Steve Holdener
