Just thought I'd share this great resource on configuring Unix and Samba to authenticate against LDAP. This is cool because you can have a single server (and an array of backup servers) provide a single network logon for an entire network across Unix and Windows. http://www.idealx.org/prj/samba/smbldap-howto.en.html Oh, and don't buy the Samba-3 Official How-To book. It's certifiably horrible.
