Linux for Laptops has no "Satellite Pro" links but it does have a "Satellite 410CDT" link. According to this link, the LCD monitor worked under XFree86 3.3.6 using: Horiz: 20-64 Vert: 40-90 Chipset: CT 65548 (the Linux for Laptops entry lists it as 65545, but Toshiba's spec sheet for this particular laptop states that the chipset is 65548). Read up some more on this monitor. Apparently X only can see two dot clocks when running the laptop using just the LCD: 25.2 and 28.3. If you add an external monitor a third dot clock is visible: 40. All the XF86Config files I've seen for this laptop use the 28.3 dot clock. What resolutions can the 25.2 dot clock support?
