very strange DNS problem, (whoa , many responses) clarification

Ok, that makes sense, I just did a new dump and the
timeout is now down to 95,000 seconds or so.

This sounds like a good conclusion, but I'm still a
bit mystified as to why my nameserver has this problem
when every other nameserver I try seems to work just
fine.  Why am I the only one who's got stale data?
