Or go halfway and make it so you can only put messages onto the
list if you are sending from a valid email.  The Return Address,
Peer Network Address Pair (RAPNAP) database is a database of
exactly that: valid e-mail addresses that people send from.

I will be uploading RAPNAP::check to CPAN any day now -- if anyone on
kclug would like to play with the service in prerelease I can send you
the current version of the perl module.

There is ONE RAPNAP database for all mailing lists, in-boxes, etcetera
to query and it is managed by me, David Nicol, and I am not doing
anything with the data except releasing it in response to RAPNAP
queries.

Write to david.nicol at tipjar.com to get yourself listed in the RAPNAP
database.
