or send a long annoying string of ASCII beeps (infinite ascii beep loop?

Hello, I'm a little new to linux.I am trying to get things setup so I
don't need to boot into windows.  I've got Gentoo installed and I'm
starting to get things setup the way I need it.  I was wondering if
anyone knew of a good alarm clock?  I need one that can be shut off
quickly.
