Logitech cordless comfort duo problem

I got a Logitech cordless comfort duo wireless keyboard and mouse and am
having problems with the keyboard.  Both the keyboard and the mouse run
off the same controller, and then the controller has two plug-ins to the
pc, the mouse is ps2 and the keyboard is usb with a ps2 converter.  To
further complicate things, I am running on a Belkin KVM.  When I boot
up, the mouse works fine, but the keyboard never does.  Does anyone have
any experience with this?
