  Hello

I booted my PC and after the line that announces:

RAMDisk: Loading 1440 blocks into RAMDisk .......

  I get a screenful of

General protection: 0000
General protection: 0000
General protection: 0000
General protection: 0000
General protection: 0000
General protection: 0000
General protection: 0000
General protection: 0000
.....

And the PC reboots on its own.

After seeing him cycle like that several times, I decided to ask.

The configuration is pretty bland, 386/4meg, Maxtor 340 IDE, Trident
8900c card. The motherboard is one of those 3/486 upgradeable types.

  Thanks

alex
