Sure, try minicom
current releases version is mc14g
available on sunsite and tsx-11
We are currently developping version 1.5a if you can't wait
get it from our public linux machine in +31-1720-42580
in /pub/linux/communication/mc1.5a.tar.gz
This version includes local echo and some bug fixes ...
