Well, I poked around in the FAQs and HOWTOs and didn't find anything, so...
How do I set the time zone in linux? I'm in Maryland, so I need the date
displayed in EDT format. Right now linux does an /etc/clock -s in my
rc.local, which sets the time to the local HHMMSS but with the GMT zone.
Then, when utilities convert that to EDT to calculate the actual local time,
they end up eight hours off!
Thanx! -Jim
