I have been using getty_ps 2.0.7b quite happily for a couple of weeks
now. I haven't yet had the nerve to try the ringback feature (although
it does sound useful), and usually "shut off" the uugetty on my modem
while I'm home anyway, since I'm the only one who calls my system (e.g.
when I'm at work and want to look up something).
One thing I would like to do, however, is log calls which are not actually
from a modem (/var/adm/getty.log would be a likely place). I don't see
anything about this in the man page or README files however. Actually,
logging all calls would be fine if there were some indication of whether
someone logged in at the time or not.
I can think of maybe a couple kludgey ways to do it, but has anyone
implemented this simply?
Please reply via email and I'll summarize.
