I finally got X11 to work on my system, but the mouse acts erally strangely:
when I freshly power up the computer, boot up linux and run x ('startx')
it starts up fine, but the mouse only wants to go, and keep going up/left.
When I move the mouse down, it doesn't go anywhere, when I move it
up/left, it ddoes where it should.
ALSO
When I quit out of X ([ctrl]-[alt]-[backsps]) and restart x I can no longer
get the mouse to even do what I described above, the mouse is dead.
THEN, when I reboot to DOS, the mouse is no longer installed or
functional.
??!
The mouse is a cheap, I'm assuming Microsoft Mouse compatable, and it says
'Energy' on it. Three bnuttons, in COM1. Any ideas? Anyone heard of this
mouse? I'm *so* close to getting X to work...just this bugger of a mouse!
