Subject: Problems compiling Pcomm1.2 (Linker error)
Date: 30 May 1993 06:23:13 GMT

I am having problems compiling (Or linking) pcomm1.2. The compilation
makes it all the way through, but when it gets to the linking it errors
out. I myself know nothing about object files so maybe someone out there
can help me. When the linker gets to the curses.o file I get this error:

curses.o: Undefined symbol __putchar referenced from text segement.

This is totaly alian to me. I read over the readme file with the sources
and found nothing about linker options and the such.

I am running:

    Linux 0.99pl9
libc.so.4.4 (I tried putting the 4.3 libs back in, but gcc bombs out)
    gcc 2.4.0
    386dx/40 with 8meg of ram.

Prior thanx for your help!
