I am interested in installing Linux on my PC. My current configuration
is a 286 with an MFM 30 meg drive and mono monitor, 640k RAM (hopefully
to be increased to 1 Meg sometime soon.
I have the listing of FTP sites carrying the software, but which
subdirectories do I go into? Which files do I need?
I have a 3.5" high density drive as well as all the floppies I need.
Could anyone please help me? Also, if another UNIX-like OS other than
Linux is recommended, please let me know, too.
Direct replies are preferred, but if you wish to/must post directly,
that is fine, too.
