I have _never_ found this to be true -- you must work with a vastly
different set of word processor users than I do.

Most of the people who've become relatively adept at WordPerfect (which
I hate) in my company essentially know only how to use the arrow keys
in emacs. This is probably because emacs doesn't come with a keyboard
template by default. :-/
