Subject: Problems with compiling (Segmentation fault) on 386SX
Date: 16 May 1993 10:50:15 GMT

Hi.. sort of new to Linux, but I like it a lot (I have it on part of
my 486.. if only I could get a bigger HD ;) so I installed it on
my school's library system (Generic clone 386 SX w/ 4 MB)
My problem is trying to run the programmes that it compiles (they
compile fine, if slowly) - I get something like
"Segmentation fault (core dumped)".
I can compile fine on the 486, which leads me to suspect that
compiling doesn't work on SXs? (because of the architecture, maybe?)
Can anyone help me on this?

By the way, Linux doesn't work on MCA architecture (PS/2s) right?

Thanks!
