OK - it could be an ext2fs bug, or it could be a problem with the
adaptec drivers. It's hard to say exactly.

Anyway, the ext2fs-0.3 release fixed a few bugs in the ext2fs - you
should try upgrading to that and see if the problem recurs. If it
does, get back in touch.

The ext2fs-0.3 is included in linux-0.99pl9, which also updates the
SCSI drivers. 0.99pl10 is due out any day now.
