Subject:  Fast linux hardware?

What I'm trying to find out is: what high-end hardware does linux currently
support? I'm not trying to start a 50/66Mhz, VESA/EISA flame war, I'd just
like to know what people are successfully running fast linux systems on.

* VESA local bus boards?
* assorted VESA interface cards (SVGA, IDE, SCSI, etc.) ?
* 16Mb of RAM? More?
* high clock speed boards...50Mhz? DX2-66?

Please email me if you regularly use a system with any of this stuff...and
I'll collect the info and make it available, if anybody else wants to see it.
(brand names/model numbers would be handy...)

tnx,
pat
