This summer I'll be working for a professor on campus on helping to
develope a digital signals processing package for xview and possibly
for motiff. I have 2 questions:
I'll be putting linux on a 486DX-33 with 8M ram. The 486DX-33 has
a Targa S3 Local Bus video card on it and I'm wondering how well this
card is supported and if X will run on it at all without lots of
fiddling.
Most of the programming will be done with the xview package and
although it's not relevant to this newsgroup, I'm wondering how
hard it would be to port from xview to motif in the future,
while the prof is considering moving the code to motif.
