Subject: Remote display question?
Date: 14 May 1993 04:27:11 GMT

Hello, I'm new to linux, so it may be a dumb question, but
here it goes. I read on this new group that linux currently
does NOT have a PPP or SLIP port. However, some messages
seemed to indicate that remote display of X routines was
possible over a phone line. So, my questions are:

        1. Is this a correct interpretation of the messages I've
           been reading?

        2. If so, what software do I use to make this happen.

        3. Can I do it with a modem over a phone line?

        Thanks for any help.
