Icently down-loaded xdtm but when I crank it gives me the message

 xdtm: can't load library '/lib/libXpm.so.3'
         No such library.

I am running SLS 1.0 and 0.99pl8. Can I just copy this shared library from
somewhere or do I need to upgrade GCC. I don't have any libXpm.so.xx .
