Got the same trouble. Some processes do get the Ctrl-C alright, but
quite often the login-session is finished. At least it seems to be a
normal signal, as the shell (tcsh, bash, sh on Sun) do write their
history. At least something!

There seems to be a signal handling problem here, but I don't have the
time to look at it right now. So I'll live with this for a while.
