I really think we are going to have to wait until Ted gets back. He is
really unhappy about these changes, and I think apart from being personally
insulted that he is not being consulted (he's on vacation right now), he feels
these changes are a **BAD THING** for linux. Ted has done about as much as
anyone to improve Linux, so give the guy a break, forget changing the serial
lines until he gets back (June 1).
