Subject: Ooops - well hung - Any Help Please.....

I can't boot. Gets as far as init then hangs with following :

Unable to handle kernel paging request at address c08626f4
Ooops: 0000
EIP: 0008:00030529
EFLAGS: 0010202
fs: 0017
base: 00000000, limit: c0000000
Pid:1, process nr:1
8b 74 82 04 8b 43 44 c6 4011

Is there a relatively painless way out of this ? Kernel 99.pl9 BTW.
I don't know what happened while I was away, but it looks tiresome.

I can get in using the SLS boot image to fix, if someone can tell
me how. I hope I don't have to lose the partition Doctor.......
(extfs as root on /dev/hda3, swap on /dev/hda2).

Help, help........
