Ok, I've received *so* much e-mail from people about my problem
with picking an OS and it all points to the fact that I *can* run
Linux and run it "fine" (still need more hard drive room).

...But, now that I've decided that Linux is a good OS (and I get
that feeling from everyone that has written to me and talks about
it) what can I do with it? Is it productive to move into using more
and more Linux software on my machine over DOS apps? Even if I do
have DOS and Linux coexisting on the same drive what purpose does
that serve? Doesn't that just make having Linux sort of a novelty
thing?

Please post on the board in response to these questions because I
really want to know before I commit a percentage of my harddrive
to come (where is that damn refund check, anyway?! :) ) to Linux
and everything that goes along with it.

Thanks ahead of time for answers to these questions and thanks to
all of those that took the time to personally write me -- sorry but
I don't see how I'll have the time to personally respond to all of
you with exams early next week and then going home, etc...

Type at you later...
