Using the SLS package corresponding to kernel .99 pl 8, I get this
error when running gcc:

gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 11

The program was:
main()
{
 int i;
}

(and other, more complicated programs have failed too.)

Can anyone suggest a possible cause and/or solution?
