Hi there!

I am Linux user for about 4 months now, and I have finally decided
to upgrade from my old SLS 0.98whatsoever --- partitially because my
extfs partition gave a new meaning to word 'chaos' ...

Anyway, I'm going to upgrade to SLS 1.01, and I'd like some help on
the bewildering variety of file systems currently suported by Linux
( minix, e2fs, xiafs, BSD fs (?), [did I miss any?] ).
Which of these is safer, more eficient, or has better tools?

Thanks in advance,

        Pedro Vasconcelos

P.S. Just for the record, I have a 486dx with an Adaptec1452 with one
     240Mb SCSI disk.
