Subject: SLS 1.02 - Library links?
Date: 7 May 1993 20:47:11 +0800

        G'day everyone,

I recently installed the complete SLS (with the .99.9 kernel etc)
on my new HD, and initially had the problem where /lib/libm.so.4 pointed
to a non-existent file. So I removed it and created a symbolic link to
/lib/libm.so.4.0. And so groff no longer complains that it can't find
this library.

However, I just compiled an LPmud driver, and when trying to start
it up get:
..../parse: can't load library '/lib//libm.so.4'
        Incompatible version.

This suggests to me that I may have misread something. Can
someone enlighten me as to exactly how (or where) /lib/libm.so.4 points?

        Thanks in advance,
                        - Mitchell Brandsma (meetch@DIALix.oz.au :)
