Subject: Linux + Sun 3/50 + Xkernel.....would it work?

OK, the subject line is a little vague...! Here's the question in a
complete English sentence:

Could an ethernetted Linux box serve up Xkernel to a Sun 3/50 or 60,
thereby using it as an x terminal? Here is my reasoning:

1. Sun 3/50s are probably well under $500 at the moment...too slow for
workstation work and a little bit big for doorstops. :-)

2. They have enet interfaces and nice, big, sharp mono screens. (OK,
I like monochrome! I'm thinking size here!)

3. A 3/50 would no doubt easily handle Xkernel + a few windows.

Well, what do you think? Too complicated for words? Workable? Please
email me if you have any thoughts on the subject. I'm no expert on any
of the abovementioned software, but I'd be willing to try it with a little
bit of encouragement!
