Subject: 17" monitors $790

I looking into purchasing a new monitor and I've narrowed the choice to
two (I can't afford a Nanao):

CTX CPS-1760DF $789
        17" tube
        65kHz Horizontal scan
        .28mm dot pitch
        1280x1024 Non-Interlaced

AOC CM-735 $789
        17" tube
        70kHz Horizontal scan
        .26mm dot pitch
        1280x1024 Non-Interlaced
        microprocessor controlled

Overall, the AOC appears to have better specs, (faster scan, finer dot pitch,
microprocessor controlled), but I know nothing about the brand or it's
reliability. Nor have I actually seen either monitor (I'm looking for a local
vendor so I can take a look at them). I'd appreciate answers from the net on a
few questions before I shell out my money.

Does anyone know the bandwidth (MHz) on either of these monitors?
Does anyone know the *actual* diagonal measurement of the screen image?
Does anyone know anything about the reliability of either monitor?
Has anyone seen either or both of these? What was your subjective opinion?

I'll post a summary of all replies.

Thanks!
