I've asked this problem last year but nobody knew how to
deal with it. I had "Bad format encountered for precompiled file"
error messgaes when I was compiling the kernel last year. It ended
up that I had edited some *.h include files using some patches.
I did a 'make clean' then the problem gone. Yesterday I got the
new f2c binary/library. I copied the f2c.h to /usr/include
and when I started to compile the hello.f, the above error
message went up. I didn't edit/change the f2c.h at all.
Any idea?
