From: rusty@anasazi.com (Rusty Carruth) Subject: SLS 1.01+ missing sort and uniq? Date: Mon, 3 May 1993 14:19:30 GMT
I'm probably just missing something, but my famous "find / -name \*sort\*
-print" trick did not turn up anything useful so:
It seems that SLS is missing sort and uniq. Sure, I can probably write
a stupid sort and uniq that will do what I need them for in less time than
it takes to write this message, but I'd rather get a "full-featured"
sort and uniq than my hack.
So, if I'm simply missing where they are, please email their location.
If SLS does not have them but Linux does, pointers to where to FTP
them from would be appreciated (most likely somewhere on sunsite or
tsx-11, eh? but where?).
If Linux does not have them, is anybody working on them? Or did
I just volunteer again? :-)
Email please, I'm completely unable to keep up with this newsgroup!
