Subject: Adaptec 1542b + Tahiti 1024 byte sector disks

I've got a Maxtor Tahiti 1 gigabyte removable drive which works
great when I use 512 byte sectored disks. When I use 1024 byte
sectored disks mke2fs fails to create a file system on the
partition. Does Linux support 1024 byte sectors on disks?
