For some reason when i run e2fsck my hard drive light flickers for a bit, then
just goes off. I left it on all night and when i woke up, my hard drive was
not active, i hit ^C a few times, my HD light flashed and I hit the linux
prompt once again. Anyone have any ideas why this is?
Also, can anyone explain to me what I need to do to allow people to log on to
my system through my USR-DS 14.4k modem. I know I have to use getty, but how?
Which files like /etc/inittab and /etc/ttytab do I need to edit?
