I made a post to rec.games.empire in regards to this already, but haven't
received any response to it yet. This may have something to do with
txconn (a cousin of term 1.0.7), but an application I was trying to run
remotely called Xempire suddenly doesn't like the Xwindows directives it's
getting echoes "xerrors" to the shell window from which I ran 'xemp'.

The application ran fine the first time. When you run it the first time
it stores "binary data" somewhere; presumably to load it again when the
program is reexecuted. However, xerrors erupt the second time it's run.
Does anyone have a theory as to why this would happen? What can I do
about it?
