Subject: Texel CD-ROM w/Workman question

Hi,

I am new to Linux (less than one week) and have found it to be great.
I installed the SLS dist from tsx-11.mit.edu. And have recently got
the XS3 server running on my Diamond Stealth VRAM (only 640x480, but
I think I can get >640x480, currently I have sync probs, but have not
  tweaked the timings).

Anyone have a good setup for that card, while I'm posting ?

Question: Anyone have a Music CD-Player (preferably a version of Workman)
             that will work with a Texel DM5024 (or 3024) CD-ROM drive ??
(it is supposed to be SCSI-2 to my knowledge). I have never found
anything that will work under DOS or OS/2 (or anything else) that
             will play music CDs.... :-(

Note: Anyone else have the prob I did where the Texel would not work with the
newest Adaptec BIOS/Microcode ROMS (with > 1 Gig support), I put my old
ones back in because the new ones locked me out of my CD-ROM.... !

Thanks,
