Subject: 0.99p7A: doexpire calling df says cannot read mounted fs ?
Date: Mon, 29 Mar 1993 18:54:08 GMT

I have upgraded to 0.99p7 and applied the alphapatches,
I have an additional partition with ext2fs containing kernel-source.

Now calling
        /usr/local/lib/news/bin/expire/doexpire &
as user news gave me:

df: cannot read mounted filesystems: permission denied
test: integer expression expected before -le
df: cannot read mounted filesystems: permission denied
test: integer expression expected before -gt

and that's that.

After that I tried to run it in foreground, but it stood still and tried
to mail me something (which failed because a mail.lock could not be created,
but this will be solved with a newer mail I think.)

What about it?!

Cheers, Michael Will
